El Rancho Escondido- A Taste of the Old West	Dec 4th, 1999
El Rancho Escondido, inside and out, is a monument to the way El Paso used to be. It is decorated with an eclectic collection of antiques, in an old adobe building surrounded with nopales. They offer the type of Mexican/Tex-Mex cuisine typical of El Paso; enchilada, taco and burrito plates, fajitas, steak tampique and, my favorite, chiles rellenos. The portions are generous.
