Not a "locals" spot more of a freeway off ramp stop.
Average food, spotty service, good ambience.
The steaks can be good. The Mexican dishes for the most part are so-so;
I can't figure out how it made the list. I last ate there a few months ago, and said not again. |

This restaurant features a waitress that is very very linked to her cultural background. Make sure you take a peek at the picture in the entry room! It's not just one of those typical Hispanic cultural pictures. It's your waitress! Very friendly and remembers her customers. This restaurant is rich with culture and welcome. I didn't like the tacos. They're difficult to eat and somewhat... tough? I'm not sure how to explain that one. Definitely not like Taco Bell tacos though. They use lean steak meat in them and the shell is thicker and tougher. Our favorite food there is the eggs they put on the huevos rancheros. We like our eggs w/ this dish over medium, and these are perfect. The white is slightly brown and crisp around the edges, the white is fully cooked and it has oozing cooked just enough yolk. Perfecto! |

I think this restaurant is one of the best that I have ever eaten at. The service and the food were great. Since I just moved from T or C, I will have to come home every weekend to eat one of my Hacienda burritos. |
