If shared bathrooms, rusty sinks, and flea market furniture is your idea of the "Ritz", then this is the place for you.
On the other hand, the cafe is quite good and the whole place has kind of an Old West charm to it. Unfortunately, Springer is mostly boarded-up.

I have stayed at the Brown Hotel several times. It's very relaxing and quiet, there is a sense of being back in the Old West, which is really nice. I like the family room atmosphere downstairs. If you want a place to really unwind, this is it. |

This is the most beautiful hotels I have ever been in. It has more ambiance than can be absorbed in a single stay. With more class than the "Ritz" I can not wait for the opportunity to come back. Oh, and the homemade bread is to die for. To one and all, book a reservation soon. A great hotel, cafe, and town to relax in. |
