I ate dinner at Adobe Springs 8/23. I had fajitas which were pretty decent. However, I think I felt squeamish the whole time as walking in it was obvious the floor was in desperate need of vacuuming and I brushed food crumbs off of my chair before I sat down. I really don't want to think about what the kitchen might have looked like. The young men waitering weren't the cleanest (dirty clothes, dirty bracelets). I probably wouldn't have eaten there if I'd been alone or with hubby, but was rather obligated to at the time. |

I have eaten at Adobe Springs plenty of times, and after each time, I always wish I ate somewhere else. The food is rather plain, and for me, not much to choose from. I would recommend eating in rather than eating here. |

As a new resident of Silver City, this was the first restaurant I and my husband ever ate at. The atmosphere was pleasant, the waitress was nice... On subsequent visits, the food has been good- not the best ever, but not bad, either.
Most of the personnel are professional. There is a hostess who looked like she just got out of the shower and got her clothes out of the dirty clothes hamper, but that is a very minor "blemish" for this restaurant. |

Have eaten here several times and have enjoyed them all. The whole wheat pancakes are very good and huge. The club sandwich is also very good. Great variety! |

The food at Adobe Springs is lacking everything...taste, presentation, you name it. All fried foods taste the same, as if they have been fried in the same old grease for years. Service is unpredictable, but generally poor. The Mexican food is a joke! |

And that seems to be what brings everyone here. Very friendly employees and a varied menu help.
Breakfast is pretty bad. The bacon looks like it is fried in a deep fat fryer. Toast is slapped with a tasteless oil of some sort and the hash browns are usually barely warm, much less brown. I switched to a biscuit with gravy and it's ok, if you put a lot of salt and pepper on it.
Other meals are good to great, but I don't recommend this place for breakfast. |
