What a treat! We were told this was a "don't miss," and we toasted the person who recommended it to us with the restaurant's signature prickly pear lemonade.
We ate our way through New Mexico, always on the lookout for green chile stew. Although we don't lack for wonderful Mexican food in California, green chile stew, not to mention sopaipillas, are unique to New Mexico.
Definitely one of the high points of our trip. |

This restaurant was recommended to us by our neighbors, and the food was excellent, which is a high praise from me as I am not a big fan of Mexican food. I am even going to buy the cookbook. |

What a wonderful restaurant. My parent's recommended Rancho de Chimayo for dinner and we had a fantastic time. The green chile was the best I have ever tasted. |
