I moved from ND when I was in 5th grade but some of my favorite memories take place at my favorite restarunt Mexican Village. The service is great and I remember one waitress in particular who was so sweet to me an my family. We went to visit when I was in 9th grade and the waitress was still there and she rememebered our family. I don't ever get to visit but I miss the food especially the sauce so much but I don't know how to get a hold of it. I crave it all the time. |

We've lived in the Twin Cities for 20 years and have to keep resupplying our village hot sauce every time we go back home to North Dakota. We absolutely think that Village Hot Sauce be sold WORLDWIDE. Or at least here. |

When I was a student in Grand Forks quite a few years ago we used to eat at Mexican Village almost weekly. Whenever I go back to Grand Forks (not nearly often enough) I try and have either lunch or dinner at Mexican Village. It is wonderful that the food continues to be the best. I live in the Twin Cities, and wish I could find the salsa and bean dip in some of the supermarkets here. |

I grew up in Grand Forks, and Mexican Village was my favorite restaurant. I had to move away when I got married, but whenever I get the chance, I go back for a visit. I ALWAYS stop at Mexican Village when I'm in town. Even if I'm just passing through, I will still make a point to swing by and have lunch. I have begged the owners/managers of Mexican Village to give me recipes for their hot sauces (especially the Witch's Brew - my absolute favorite), but they continually decline. So las, I must long for the delicious taste of Mexican Village food. I always make sure my relatives stop by the restaurant on their way to visit me. They travel with chips and sauce all the way to my house in Tulsa, OK! I have been to countless Mexican restaurants all over the country (and even in Mexico), and have yet to find one that serves food as delicious as the food served at Mexican Village. |
