Upscale Mexican cuisine including steaks, fine dining seafood, along with the more typical Mexican entrees. Located in the Cultural Center of Detroit, the decor is modern with track lighting, room dividers and black/chrome furnishings. As for the bar, there are many brands of tequila to choose from as well as Mexican beers.

Went there during one of their "Artists Open House" nights. They had a free buffet that was wonderful, then we ordered drinks and a meal, food was great, service was quick, and drinks were ample |

In the hole of a city that is Detroit, Agave is a welcome Oasis. In what appears to be a posh and upscale Mexican restaurant based on the decor and menu options, the prices are tough to beat. I went there on a Friday night and there were still plenty of open tables. The service was superb, always plenty of outstanding chips and salsa and the dish was prepared to my liking-a hard task considering how picky of an eater I am. |
