My husband and I finally went to this restaurant with our two young children, after several of our neighbors said they eat here regularly. It is located in a small strip store building with 3 or 4 other shops. The interior is simply decorated, with plain booths and tables and a television in the corner. The casual atmosphere was just fine, since the noise and restlessness of our kids fit right in with several other families.
I ordered the Camarones Acajutla and my husband got the Pollo Acajutla - shrimp and chicken served with a creamy chipotle sauce. Both arrived reasonably quickly, hot and fresh, simply presented, with a decent portion size. And they were very good!
Although I don't think this will become one of our regular places to eat out at, it will certainly be the place to go when we crave something Salvadoran |
