We found this restaurant while staying in the area, and highly recommend it. It's worth a drive for anyone who loves Mexican food and looking for something more than the usual burritos and tacos. It looks like a typical small Tex-Mex cafe from the outside. We assumed it had counter service and a few tables. But it is a huge restaurant inside, with an outstanding menu - lots of fish, chicken, and beef dishes, and several vegetarian dishes. We went two nights in a row, and can't wait to go back. |

This restaurant serves up wonderful Tex Mex food. It is a local gathering place for the community. If you live in the area you are very likely to run into someone you know. The service is polite and efficient. The mariachis on Friday's and Saturday's are marvelous. Our own little taste of El Salvador right here in Burtonsville.
A MUST TRY!!! |

Not many people have stumbled upon this local gem. Chapala has everything. A cozy dining atmosphere as well as a sizeable bar which seats well over 75 people. The prices are affordable and the entrees are proportioned nicely. The only thing I would request is more guacamole. Cheers! |
