Inexpensive burritos, tacos, and other varieties of Mexican-American food, with counter service. The decor is simple, but clean.
There is another location on Harvard St. in Brookline, and there are Cambridge and Somerville locations as well.
Daily 10a.m.-11p.m.

I used to live in Brighton when going to school at BC. From 1994-1997, I went to Anna's Taqueria all the time. It was speedy, friendly service with food that's out of this world! I only wish I could get their burritos up here in NH. They've got me addicted, and I long for their carnitas filled burritos. |

Wow, I can't say enough about Anna's. It's just hard to believe take-out food (prepared in a matter of 30 seconds) could possibly be this good. |

For years, I have been a Anna's connoisseur. From the chips to the burritos to the super quesadilla (a secret item not found on the menu but available by request), you will find some of the most exceptional Mexican food around. Many times I have found a line winding its way to the door but I can always be assured of the fast service. The in-your-face, rapid-fire, made-to-order production of your food may seem daunting to the uninitiated but the trouble proves to be well worth it. Don't expect to see much decor -- you are going for the food, not to find the tacky kitsch you find at Chillis. Now that I go to college far away from their four locations in the Boston area, I long for the breaks to come home and go directly to Anna's. And don't worry! After paying for the bus ride, I will not break the bank because a basic meat-quesadilla and a medium drink will run me only $4.50 yet leave me painfully (and happily) full. Not too shabby, eh? |

The best food ever. It is so good even people who hate Mexican food love it. It's so good that I weigh like 600 hundred pounds. |

It's quick, healthy, cheap, and very tasty. The super burritos will fill you up and won't cost you much. I get a super burrito and a small coke for under $5. You pay as much at some fastfood place and their food there isn't is good or healthy as it is at Anna's. Warning: This place can be addictive! It seriously is the best bang for your buck. The only downside: long lines during peak hours (because it's so darn popular). One extra bonus: it's open until 11 pm every night which is super cool when you have a craving. |
