Real Mexican food prepared by real Mexicans who, unfortunately, get harassed by the Carmel Police in this overwhelmingly white Anglo upscale suburban community. But I digress. If you're looking for good Mexican cuisine in the Indianapolis area, this is THE place to go. A friend who was raised on Mexican food in San Diego, Calif., proclaimed Cancun's fare the best she'd had since she left home.
There's a big photo of a Mexican village hanging behind the cash register. That's the hometown of nearly all of the folks who work there and where they send a piece of their paychecks. The only carpet in that town is in the church, I'm told. |
