I have eaten at quite a few "cheap, mexican-food" places. I believe this one to be the best. They are open 24 hours, so it's an incredible place to go after the bars close.
For less than $5 you can get a huge burrito. I especially enjoy the breakfast burritos. The side dishes (beans and rice) are sort of bland, so I don't usually get combo meals.
I suppose the meats isn't as good as some of the more upscale places, but for these prices, it should be expected.
The menu is quite large, so there is something for everyone. I think they even have menudo on a couple of days.
Give them a try. If you go through the drive-through, turn off your car at the window. It takes aroung five minutes to make it, so it's always hot and fresh. |
