I must start off the review as saying that I am probably a little biased. I am 24 and I have been going to this same restaurant for over 20 years. The location of the place is probably the only reason that it has not been discovered as widely as it should. The food is wonderful every time and the waitresses are nice and the service is quick. The prices are very reasonable and well worth it.
The absolute best thing about this place has to be it's hot sauce. I can remember as a kid thinking it was too hot, but now I can almost drink it or put it on my cereal in the morning. At least once a week I swing by and get a couple pints of hot sauce and some fresh baked chips to dip with. If I'm in a rush and need something hearty and delicious, I call in an order on my way to a meeting and get a freshly cooked hot meal which is wonderful. Sometimes I'll even order an extra hot sauce to take with me to my meeting and have my clients try the hot sauce and they always love it. So, overall, great food and great service in a simple and relaxing atmosphere. A+++ |
